We are not a “Pilot Factory”. Instead, you will receive individualized and personal instruction enabling you to become a safe and proficient pilot.
Our location at the Turlock Airport in Turlock, CA offers an excellent training environment, our helicopter practice area is right at the airport. This means you can practice flight maneuvers like hovering, taxiing, takeoffs, landings, and autorotations without having to travel to another location, you will save time and money training here with Central Valley Helicopters.
We use the Robinson R22 as our primary trainer. The Robinson R22 is the most popular trainer in the world !!!

Our discovery flight is great for someone who wants to come get a feel for flying a helicopter without a large financial commitment. For just $249 you will get 2 hours of training which includes; Robinson SFAR training, Pre-Flight inspection Training & Briefing, 30-50 mins flight time where you will take the controls and actually fly the heli- copter yourself and a post flight briefing.
